At an altitude of 380 meters above sea level in the small town of Alba, the Moscato grapes for this Moscato d'Asti are grown. The soil structure consists primarily of calcareous marl. This not only makes the soil very fertile but also gives the final wine its special characteristics. This passionate wine is produced by the centuries-old winery Angelo Negro.
Centuries-old winery Angelo Negro
The Negro family has owned several vineyards in beautiful Piedmont since 1670. Since then, everything has been dedicated to producing exquisite wines. They plant several white and red grape varieties. These grow on beautiful, sun-drenched hills with chalky soil, resulting in rich and flavorful wines. Today, Giovanni Negro is at the helm. He produced the first dry Roero Arneis, registered in 1971. They have a wide range of impressive wines. They own a total of 64 hectares of vineyards, almost entirely organically farmed. In mid-September, the grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the winery in 20-kilogram boxes. In the winery, the grapes are vinified using traditional methods. The grapes are rigorously selected in the cellar, after which the best grapes are slowly pressed. Fermentation then takes place at a controlled temperature in an autoclave, achieving the perfect balance of alcohol, acidity, and sugars. The aromas of Angelo Negro Moscato d'Asti
The aroma is typical of a Moscato d'Asti. Delightfully recognizable notes of orange, peach, and sage. This beautiful straw-yellow wine has a fine mousse and lingering aromas. The palate is velvety, deliciously fruity with distinct notes of peach and orange. An elegant Moscato d'Asti that pairs perfectly with fruit or a refreshing dessert.Product details
