This Corvina Verona is a beautiful red wine from sun-drenched Italy. The fruity aromas seduce you from the very first sip. The wine is beautifully balanced and transports you to northern Italy, Verona to be precise. This is where Montresor has mastered the finest techniques over the years and brought high-quality wines to the market.

The quality and tradition of Montresor

The originally French family moved to beautiful Verona in the 16th century, where they began making wine. The winery has since grown to 4,500 hectares of vineyards, where quality and tradition are paramount. The vineyards of the Montresor winery are nestled in the rolling hills of the Veneto region. The family business is run by Edoardo, who shares the reins with his father. He is steadily introducing new wines to the market. This red Verona is a beautiful example. This red wine is made in the same way as Ripasso della Valpolicella. However, this term is not permitted because the vineyards are not located in the Valpolicella region. The Corvina grapes come from vineyards around Verona. They are carefully harvested at peak ripeness and taken directly to the winery. Here, a strict selection process takes place, ensuring only the finest grapes are used for the final wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 18 degrees Celsius for 15 days.

What does Montresor Corvina Verona taste like?

The Corvina Verona erupts into the glass with a deep ruby red color. As soon as you pour the red wine, you can immediately savor the aromas of cherries, berries, and blackberries. These are complemented by notes of tangerine peel and flowers. It's a very fruity wine with occasional earthy notes. Good acidity and subtle, rounded tannins combine to create a pleasant finish.
