It's no surprise that Albert Bichot Meursault is known as one of the finest wines from Burgundy. The fresh and fruity aromas are captivating and beautifully complement the refined palate. Furthermore, the winery is committed to sustainability, so we can enjoy the region's beautiful wines for even longer.

The diverse vineyards of Albert Bichot

The Albert Bichot wine estate was founded in 1831 and is now run by Alberic Bichot, the sixth generation of his family. The vineyards are spread across Burgundy, which is why Bichot decided to establish four of his own wineries. Each winery produces wine from surrounding appellations, ensuring the grapes have the shortest transport routes from vineyard to cellar. To achieve the high quality we have come to expect from Albert Bichot, strict quality standards are followed. Each plot is regularly inspected, regardless of whether it belongs to the winery or a long-standing grape supplier. This ultimately ensures high-quality grapes and excellent wines. Albert Bichot Meursault is produced in the heart of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune region, where the soil consists of calcareous clay and white marl. This gives the wine its distinctive flavor profile. First, the finest Chardonnay grapes are pressed and fermented in oak barrels. These barrels are partially made of new oak, giving the wine its complexity and depth. The wine then matures in oak barrels for 14 to 16 months. After this, the wine is bottled, and it's time to enjoy this Meursault.

Be surprised by the freshness of Albert Bichot Meursault

Albert Bichot's Meursault wine boasts elegant and complex flavors. The aroma reveals distinct aromas of toast, vanilla, and fruity notes of peach. This gives the wine a warm and earthy character without losing its freshness. The palate is beautifully balanced with a pleasant structure. The wine lingers pleasantly on the palate, its fruity character blending beautifully with mineral notes. This white wine pairs perfectly with fish dishes, seafood, white meat, and poultry. The complexity of this Albert Bichot Meursault perfectly complements the rich flavors of these dishes.
