It embodies exactly what Portuguese wines stand for: structure, power, and structure. Quinta do Carmo is located in southern Portugal, known for producing highly concentrated wines. The vineyards of Quinta do Carmo

Quinta do Carmo owns a whopping 1,000 hectares of its own vineyards. That's an astronomical number. It's also located in Portugal's largest wine region, Alentejo. This area encompasses almost all of southeastern Portugal, with the exception of the Algarve. Alentejo is also one of the hottest wine regions in Europe, making it an excellent location for robust, powerful red wines. Quinta do Carmo grows almost exclusively native grape varieties. However, it also has some Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, which play a significant role in this Quinta do Carmo Red.
