Chateau La Nerthe is a historic winery, and with 90 hectares of vineyards, it's also the largest winery in the renowned Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. The winery's origins date back to the 14th century, and from the very beginning, it has been synonymous with excellent wines from the Côtes du Rhône region. This Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc is a prime example. This wine features a beautiful interplay between freshness and complexity.

Elegant and fresh wines from Chateau La Nerthe

In southeastern France, we find the Château La Nerthe winery. It's a place steeped in history, with cellars dating back to the 16th century. The vines are spread across 92 hectares of the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. Three families are responsible for the winery's success. The terroir comprises 15 different soil types, and the wines are all characterized by elegance and freshness. The grapes are harvested relatively early, resulting in deliciously fresh and fruity wines. Chateauneuf du Pape white is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, and Bourboulenc and is 100% organically produced. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand. In the cellar, a strict selection process follows, and all grapes except Roussanne are immediately pressed for three hours. After 24 hours, the juice is filtered, and fermentation can begin. To preserve the aromas, fermentation takes place at low temperatures.
