Villa Conchi is a beloved Cava, and "love" is the perfect word, playing a significant role within this beautiful Cava house. Mrs. Conchi was a French lover of sparkling wines, Cavas, and Champagnes. She wanted to create a cosmopolitan Cava in Spain and found the perfect vineyards in the heart of Catalonia, nestled in the mountains near Montserrat. Conchi planted her Chardonnay and Pinto Noir grapes with the utmost care, and it proved a resounding success. The Mediterranean climate made the grapes shine, and the warm afternoons and cool nights proved a key success. Coolness is essential for developing a lovely, fresh acidity in the grapes, and it certainly succeeded.

Completely hand-harvested for this Villa Conchi Cava

At the ideal ripeness of the grapes, which are derived from the Champagne region. Because there they also use the Chardonnay grapes for their sparkling wines. They are harvested by hand and very carefully controlled. To a small extent, the Spanish grapes Xarel-lo, Parellada and Macabeo are also used. With great love for the end result, they are placed in small crates to prevent damage during transport. After this, a method traditionelle follows, which means the bottles mature for at least twelve months in the cellars of Villa Conchi. The bottles are given all the rest to create the bubbles, and you can taste that in this beautiful cava.

The design is truly feminine, and the beautiful label design has been modernized over the years, but Mrs. Conchi originally laid the foundation. The aroma offers a lovely, fresh start with refined bubbles. Rich aromas of red apples, lemons, toast, and a hint of fresh mint leaves. The palate of this Villa Conchi Cava Brut is very rich, with a lovely tingle on the palate from the bubbles, along with plenty of fresh yellow and tropical fruit.
