Louis Roederer Brut Collection is a beautiful, characteristic brut Champagne. This champagne has a refined, classic style, resulting from its long bottle aging in the Louis Roederer cellars. The Brut Collection matures for at least four years in the bottle under perfect conditions. Cellar Master Jean Baptiste Lecaillon always handles this aging process with the utmost care, ensuring each champagne receives its due. As mentioned, this is a characteristic and classic champagne, yet with a surprisingly modern twist.
The success of Louis Roederer
When we think of successful Champagne houses, Louis Roederer immediately comes to mind. The origins of this winery go back to 1760, when it was better known as Dubois Pere & Fils. In 1833, Louis inherited the company and decided to name it after himself. Good champagne requires excellent grapes. Roederer has the advantage of being able to harvest three-quarters of its grapes from vineyards that have been in family hands for a considerable period. This ensures optimal quality. The scent and taste of the Louis Roederer Collection
The Brut Collection boasts a very refined mousse and a fresh, bright yellow color. The aroma is full and rich, as we would expect from a champagne with this reputation. A pleasant addition is the refreshing scent of light citrus dancing through it. The palate is beautifully dry with full, ripe fruit notes. The finish is elegant and fresh with a very pleasant mouthfeel. The wine's characteristic style is highly appreciated by connoisseurs, having been a finalist in the "Best Champagne of the Netherlands" competition three times in the past five years. Brut Premier is a blend of three grape varieties from at least four vintages: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. The vins de reserve, which are added after the dosage, are on average two to five years old and largely define the house's unique style.Product details
