The Bailly-Lapierre winery's reputation extends far beyond France's borders. Its sparkling wines are acclaimed worldwide, including the Blanc de Blancs-style Chardonnay. Manual harvest for Bailly Lapierre Chardonnay Brut

In 2015, Les Caves Bailly Lapierre and Les Vignerons de Buxy joined forces to form a cooperative. They now collaborate with some 430 winegrowers to produce wines of the highest quality. The vineyards are located near the Burgundy border, in the town of Auxerrois, to be precise. They have a unique way of producing refreshing wines. In recent years, they have been producing sparkling wines that are beloved worldwide and offer a fine alternative to the more expensive wines from the Champagne region. Generally, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are used in the blend, with the local Aligote grape adding a touch of local flavor. This 100 percent Chardonnay wine reflects a glass filled with finesse, structure, and pure refreshment. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand at peak ripeness and transported in small baskets. Arriving at the winery, the grapes are undamaged and rigorously selected. The wine is aged for 18 months in cold, limestone cellars. This ensures the wine's clarity and soft notes.
