Only recently added to our selection, La Gioiosa Frizzante Rose has already become a crowd-pleaser. What a fantastic sparkling wine from Italy! The La Gioiosa winery is responsible for this success. This family-run business has been producing the most breathtaking Prosecco wines for three generations. The Prosecco region is located in the province of Veneto. This wine region, roughly situated between Lake Garda and Venice, is becoming increasingly important to Italian viticulture. It produces many quality wines, of which Prosecco is one.

The vineyards of La Gioiosa

The Prosecco region is a vast area located in the northern part of Veneto. The heart of the Prosecco region lies in the village of Valdobbiadene. Here lie the finest, best, and oldest vineyards for the production of Prosecco wines. It is also the only village within the Prosecco region to carry the DOCG classification. The grapes for La Gioiosa Frizzante Rose are therefore of exceptionally high quality. The grapes used for La Gioiosa Frizzante Rose are somewhat unconventional but have proven to be more than successful. Rather than native grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec have ultimately ensured that La Gioiosa Frizzante Rose is a celebration from the first sip to the very last drop.
