The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

This exceptional wine captivates with its freshness, heartiness, and a touch of adventure. Seductive, fruity aromas and a refreshing palate set the Nussbien apart. This wine once again demonstrates the high quality of Von Winning wines. The Von Winning Riesling QBA 'Nussbien' is a masterpiece of flavor and balance.

Weingut von Winning, a historic winery dating back to 1849, has a rich heritage in the German wine world. In 2007, it was revived by Achim Niederberger. Under the leadership of winemaker Stephan Attman and later Andreas Hütwohl, the winery embarked on an ambitious project: creating wines that would rival the renowned and expensive Palatinate vintages of the 1850s. One of their special vineyards is Nussbien, located south of the renowned village of Rupertsberg. This vineyard is situated just beyond the Reiterpfad Grand Cru site, in an area that extends into the ancient Palatinate forests. The grapes grown here thrive in this beautiful setting and contribute to the unique quality of Weingut von Winning's wines. Nussbien reflects the winery's vision: clarity and brilliant simplicity. The wines produced here are among the most sought-after in the region and contribute to von Winning's reputation as a producer of top-notch wines. With their dedication to craftsmanship and respect for the terroir, they capture the essence of Palatinate in every bottle. Nussbien is a tribute to the winery's rich history and an embodiment of their ongoing quest for quality and excellence.

The Von Winning Riesling qba 'Nussbien' is a wine that immediately captivates with its unique character and flavor profile. Approaching the glass, you're greeted by a spicy nose, with subtle notes of pepper and juniper berries. But it's the combination of fruit flavors that truly impresses. The refreshing taste of apple and cucumber creates a vibrant freshness and takes you on a captivating journey through the glass. What truly sets this Riesling apart is the density and juiciness that greet you.
