The Italian wines of Rotari
For Rotari wines, we travel to the country where winemaking is part of the culture: Italy. Because wherever we are in Italy, wine is produced. This includes one of the country's largest wineries: Mezzacorona. A name that immediately rings a bell with wine drinkers. It owns wineries throughout Italy: from southern Puglia to verdant Veneto and from rugged Sicily to northern Trentino Alto Adige. The latter is the home of one of Mezzacorona's most impressive wineries: Rotari. Located in Trentino Alto Adige, Rotari Winery is the key to successful wines. Rotari's vineyards, which are situated in the most suitable locations, primarily produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Unconventional by Italian standards. If it weren't for the fact that Rotari specializes in sparkling wines, the choice of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is a logical one. It is no coincidence that these two grape varieties are also widely planted in Champagne, located in the northern half of France.
