Gérard Bertrand Art de Vivre Languedoc Rosé

A rosé with character and style: Gérard Bertrand's Art de Vivre Rosé is bottled in a striking ceramic bottle inspired by ancient Roman amphorae. It's an ode to Mediterranean life, with respect for nature, culture, and biodiversity at its core. Bertrand, a pioneer in biodynamic viticulture, demonstrates with this wine how tradition and innovation can go hand in hand.

Vineyards and region – freshness from the high-altitude Languedoc

The grapes for this rosé come from high-altitude plots in the Languedoc, between the Mediterranean Sea and the first foothills of the Pyrenees. The climate is typically Mediterranean, with plenty of sunshine and cooling breezes. The chalky soils and the altitude difference produce grapes with a perfect balance of ripe fruit and crisp acidity.

Vinification and maturation – preserving purity and finesse

After harvest, the grapes are pressed immediately to prevent oxidation. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks to maximize the preservation of the delicate aromas. A short maturation on the fine lees adds structure and depth to the final result.

Grape composition

This rosé is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah. The Grenache provides elegance and length, the Cinsault adds refined fruitiness, and the Syrah adds a subtle spice.

Tasting notes

The nose opens with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and a hint of blossom. On the palate, the wine is both refreshing and round, with a mineral note on the finish characteristic of the chalky terroirs of the Languedoc.

Serving suggestions

Perfect with grilled vegetables, a goat cheese salad, or as an aperitif on a summer day. Serve at 8 to 10 degrees Celsius for the best flavor.
