This gem is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes from Puglia. This region is influenced by the Adriatic Sea. It's a fertile region, yet warm and dry. This results in a warm wine with plenty of fruit! The vineyard itself is situated at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level, allowing the Cabernet and Sangiovese to receive sufficient coolness. This is crucial because this blend of coolness and warmth allows the grapes to create a top-quality wine.

Soft, soft, and even softer—that's what we first noticed when tasting this red Castelli di Severino. Upon opening the bottle, we immediately smelled the Italian sun, abundant black fruit, and hints of plum. Pouring revealed a ruby ​​red color, primarily thanks to the Sangiovese grape. The aroma reveals abundant cassis fruit from the Cabernet Sauvignon and light, spicy notes from the Sangiovese. A good swirl of the glass also reveals nuances of plums and berries.
