A winery with a high reputation. That's La Crema. It was founded in the late 1970s in Monterey County, a dazzling wine region north of the cosmopolitan city of San Francisco. Its home base is the Russian River Valley, from where La Crema has steadily acquired more vineyards. This California winery owns vineyards throughout Monterey County, from Monterey north to the south, bordering Napa Valley. Over 40 years, La Crema has become a pioneer in the California wine landscape.

From Chardonnay grape to white wine

La Crema owns the finest vineyards in Monterey County. This region is often compared to Burgundy. Monterey County also boasts a long, stable, cooling climate, allowing the Chardonnay grapes to develop perfectly. The quality is unparalleled. The grapes for La Crema Chardonnay are harvested by hand, under the strict supervision of the winemaker. This ensures that only the finest bunches are used in this La Crema white wine. After vinification, La Crema Chardonnay is aged for eight months in French oak. Of this, 17% is new oak, which adds enormous flavor and complexity to this white wine.
