Although Poderi dal Nespoli is a modern and contemporary winery, its history goes back surprisingly far. It all began in the village of Nespoli, located in the impressive Emilia-Romagna region – where the Apennine Mountains meet the Adriatic Sea. This is where Attilio Ravaioli purchased his first vineyard in 1929. In the early years of Poderi dal Nespoli, the local grape Sangiovese dominated. With its centennial celebration just around the corner, the winery has grown into a major force with no fewer than 110 hectares planted with dozens of different grape varieties.

With the arrival of the fourth generation of Celita Ravaioli, the winery is also adding more and more exceptional wines to its range. With this Poderi dal Nespoli, they're shaking up the wine world once again. The Trebbiano and Pinot Bianco are only crushed after harvest. The skins are initially fermented along with the grapes, giving them their attractive color. The juice then matures on its own yeast cells for up to six months. This gives Poderi dal Nespoli Orange Wine an even rounder and more refined flavor.
