The passion of Maison Robert Vic

The Vic family from the Beziers area (Languedoc-Roussillon) has been involved in wine since 1905. The vineyards of Maison Robert Vic lie on the Mediterranean coast in the south of France. The estate encompasses an impressive 250 hectares, and is now managed by Jerome Vic and his wife Aurélie, the fifth generation. They passionately continue what the previous generations established: producing beautiful, high-quality wines. The vineyards' diverse soil structures and microclimates make harvesting very complex. Jerôme has elevated the selection and often blending of the grapes to a true art. Each year, it's a significant challenge for Jerôme Vic and his wife Aurélie to harvest another healthy harvest from the vineyards of Les Domaines Robert Vic. The subsoil consists of ash from the now-extinct Roque Haute volcano, along with basalt, clay, and gravel from the nearby Libron River. Grandfather Georges Vic began replanting higher-quality grapes in the 1960s to produce finer wines, and the rewards are now literally palpable.
