This is a truly exceptional wine, a wine we often see in fine restaurants, and we're not surprised. Les Garrigues wines are renowned for their smoothness and purity, which is only possible with meticulous work. Every detail is meticulously cared for, and according to the winemaker, it all begins in the vineyards. For this white wine, he uses Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in an old vineyard in the Vin de Pays D'Oc appellation.

The harvest of the Sauvignon Blanc

The vineyards are in fantastic condition and are situated slightly higher than comparable vineyards. This allows the Sauvignon Blanc grapes to receive plenty of sun energy and ripen beautifully evenly. The fresh breeze and the sharp drop in nighttime temperatures provide a cool breeze during the harvest. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes retain their freshness and fine acidity, which we taste later. When the grapes are ripe, they are harvested early in the morning to prevent oxidation and preserve the Sauvignon Blanc's freshness. Once the bunches arrive at Les Garrigues, they are thoroughly inspected, and only the finest bunches are used in this white wine.

Thanks to the many hours of sunshine in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon, it has built up a lot of impressions. In the taste of this Les Garrigues Sauvignon Blanc, we discovered hints of delicate fruit like green apple and fig. But nuances of citrus and lime also quickly emerge!
