For generations, they have successfully produced wine. However, things took a turn for the worse in the 1990s. A winery near the family's estate, called Friesland, came up for sale. The family saw an opportunity and purchased these perfectly situated vineyards. From the very first harvest, this move proved to be a bull's-eye!
