This winery is a long-term collaboration between two renowned names in the wine world. It all began with the Symington family, often associated with the quality wines of Portugal. They wanted to combine the power of the Douro Valley with the craftsmanship and finesse of the birthplace of all wine: Bordeaux. This led to a partnership with renowned winemaker Bruno Prats. Since their inception in 1999, they have been producing dazzling red wines that are a hit with many.

Award-winning wines from Prats & Symington

We offer three different Prats & Symington wines. What's unique about these wines is that all three received sky-high scores from the Netherlands' most renowned wine journalist, Harold Hamersma. The Prazo de Roriz Douro and Post Scriptum de Chryseia Douro both received a remarkable 9. The highest score went to the iconic Chryseia Douro, which received a whopping 9.5.
