Because De Kleine Schorre Winery is located near the sea, it's crucial that the grapes can withstand the salty Zeeland air. And not to forget, they pair perfectly with Zeeland's salty delights, such as Oosterschelde lobster and delicious mussels. Today, De Kleine Schorre Winery comprises approximately 45,000 vines, covering 10 hectares of vineyards. With this size, the Schouwe-Duiveland winery can proudly claim to be the largest winery in the Netherlands. Thanks to the slowly changing climate, the wines are constantly improving. And they are already good! It's incredible that the Netherlands can produce such beautiful wines.
