The architect of these South African wines had a flourishing life. A prosperous career, a beautiful house in one of Johannesburg's finest neighborhoods, and a stunning wife. The perfect picture was brilliant and polished. However, no matter how well you arrange everything, some things are simply unforeseeable. He lost everything and decided to return to his birthplace near Cape Town. He became a lonely recluse. Until he met two women in a local café who sparked something in him. Thanks to the founder's tireless dedication, The Fishwives Club wines are immensely popular. A few years ago, a new vineyard was purchased near Stellenbosch, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The vineyard is small, so the production of The Fishwives Club Cabernet Sauvignon is limited. The grapes are harvested and aged in small oak barrels, both American and French, for nine months. The result is incomparable depth and complexity. A top-notch Cabernet Sauvignon wine that many other wineries envy. It offers a distinct cherry aroma, enveloped in cassis fruit.
