The Frescobaldi family winery has been enchanting us for years with the finest wines, often at a higher price point. Fortunately, they've recently launched a new red wine: Pater Sangiovese from warm Tuscany. With this red wine, the Frescobaldi family aims to demonstrate that they can produce not only the crème de la crème, but also affordable wines with considerable refinement. For this red Pater, they utilize Frescobaldi's passion for the Sangiovese grape, the grape that made this beautiful Italian winery so successful.

The vineyards for this Pater Sangiovese are nestled in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. Their perfect exposure to the sun gives them abundant strength, and the grapes quickly build up sugar levels. Fortunately, the cool breeze cools the Sangiovese grapes during the day. At night, the temperature drops further, allowing them to sleep peacefully, because grapes develop best when kept quiet and clean. The growing season is long, and the grapes are harvested by hand at the perfect ripeness and acidity. This is followed by a three-month aging process in both French and American oak barrels. But that's not all, because this Pater Sangiovese Toscana is then aged for another three months in steel barrels and another two months in the bottle. Pater Sangiovese di Toscana Frescobaldi, what a fantastic Sangiovese, bursting with freshness and rich fruity notes. The color is seductive ruby red with delicate fruity aromas on the nose. Notes of berries, blackberries, and cherries, with a hint of licorice. The palate of this Frescobaldi red wine is soft and deliciously flavored with Sangiovese grapes. Ripe and smooth are the key words. With subtle nuances of cherries and blackberries, and a touch of anise on the finish.Product details
