The Bernard Hand-Picked Viognier Bellingham is a magnificent wine from the "Bernard" series. This series takes its name from Bernard Podlashuk, Bellingham's founder and former winemaker. Bernard knew better than anyone how to handle the grapes and persevered until the wines were truly perfect.
Four months of wood aging
The Viognier grapes for this white wine come from the oldest planted Viognier vines in South Africa. This delicate grape must be treated with care during the growing process, harvest, and all the way to pressing. Therefore, all the grapes are harvested by hand to ensure the gentlest possible transfer to the winery. Half of this gem is aged for four months in French oak barrels, while the other half is aged in stainless steel to preserve the grape's fresh character.This Viognier is full and very powerful
The color is golden yellow with a green shimmer. This white wine has very pleasant and rich aromas of white fruit like banana, pear, and melon, with a subtle hint of young spring blossom. The palate is rich and bursting with beautiful nuances of ripe white fruit, perfectly balanced by some citrus acidity and floral notes. The deep and full finish completes this gem!Product details
