The big name behind Pure wines is Bodegas Yuntero, located in the La Mancha wine region. It's no small youngster; it's a cooperative that now boasts no fewer than 700 members. Together with all the winemakers, they truly make the world a better place with their Organic Wine. The winery has been active since 1954, starting with a handful of successful winemakers who wanted to produce wines known for their price-quality ratio. Well, they more than succeeded, and Pure Winery has continued with this vision. Thanks to significant investments in a modern winery, the quality has further improved, and they can now produce a fully Organic Wine from, among other grapes, the Verdejo grape.

The harvest of the Verdejo grape in La Mancha

The vineyards for this Pure white wine are located in the La Mancha wine region. This region offers the perfect climate for Verdejo. Plenty of sunshine, plenty of wind and cool nights allow the harvest to be grown entirely organically. A great deal of work is put into the vineyards to ensure the wine shines at its best. And they succeed, because this Pure white wine is like silverware. The Verdejo grapes are harvested early in the morning after a long and balanced growing season. While the bunches are still cool, they are transported to the Pure winery. This allows the wine to retain its purity and freshness, which is clearly evident in the taste of this Pure Organic Wine Verdejo white.

As soon as we open the bottle, we smell a vibrant aroma of tropical fruit, interspersed with green herbs and grapefruit. In the glass, it has a crisp, light color with a green sheen. Its aroma is rich and reminds us of gooseberry, grapefruit, lime, and fresh mint leaves. On the palate, this Pure Organic Wine Verdejo offers a lovely tingle with a fresh attack of lime and green apple. Swirl this white wine around the mouth, and it also reveals hints of citrus zest and fresh lime. Overall, it's a fresh wine with beautiful acidity, a rich finish, and an impressive purity.
