Langmeil has a rich history dating back to 1842. Langmeil Winery is one of the leading wineries in the Barossa Valley. A true family business, it is managed by the Lindner family, now in its sixth generation. The winery's goal is to produce premium wines sourced 100% from the Barossa region using grape varieties that excel in the region. The Live Wire represents an energetic evolution of the traditional style introduced by the migrating ancestors in the 1840s. This fresh, vibrant wine hails from the Eden Valley and is ideal for spicy Asian dishes or simply as an energizing aperitif. The Live Wire Riesling is a unique piece of work! Hand-picked from a single, unique vineyard thriving on ancient soils in the cooler reaches of the Eden Valley, the Live Wire Riesling is carefully pressed and fermented at a low temperature, retaining a small amount of natural residual sugar to create a balance with the Riesling's freshness. The result is a delicate yet intense wine with distinct notes of apple, citrus blossom, lime, and a distinct minerality. This Riesling has a beautiful, fine bubble.
