Vintage Report
2016 was a very good year for Campania, rated 92 points by Robert Parker. The conditions were favorable, resulting in wines with good structure and ripe fruit.
Taurasi DOCG has played a key role in Campania's wines for years. This type of wine received its first classification in 1970, putting Taurasi on the international map. Vesevo also has a Taurasi. Although Vesevo originally specialized in wines from around Vesuvius, just south of Naples and along the coast, the Taurasi DOCG is located around the town of the same name, which is located more inland. Vesevo Taurasi Rosso proves that it can do more than just produce fresh, invigorating wines. Taurasi is a powerhouse you won't get tired of.
