Domaine Anita is a family-owned winery located in the Beaujolais wine region of France. Founded in 1976, the winery is named after its founder, Anita. The company has since been passed on to the next generation, who focuses on sustainable viticulture with respect for nature and the terroir. Domaine Anita has a total of 18 hectares of vineyards spread across various appellations in the region, including Morgon, Fleurie, and Moulin-à-Vent. Domaine Anita's wines are known for their elegant and refined character with a fruity aroma. The company has received numerous awards for the high quality of its wines. The vineyard for this Coeur de Vigneronne is located on sandy, manganese-rich soil at an altitude of 220 meters. The vines are 45 years old, resulting in excellent characteristics. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and selected in the vineyards themselves. In the winery, 80 percent of the grapes are destemmed and transferred for fermentation. During fermentation, the skins are pressed down daily for extra flavor. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 11 months in oak barrels, followed by another 5 months of bottle aging.
