The vineyards in Stefan Voda

Salcuta Winery has primarily cultivated French grape varieties in its vineyards. Varieties such as Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Gris thrive in the southeastern Moldovan terroir. This is no coincidence. Salcuta's vineyards are located at roughly the same latitude as Bordeaux vineyards. Furthermore, the nearby Black Sea provides the necessary cooling for the vineyards. The result is full, flavorful bunches of Pinot Gris grapes, which, thanks to the expertise of Moldovan winemakers, are processed to near perfection.
