In 1896, the famous winery Domaines Ott was founded by Marcel Ott. The domain consists of three different wineries: Domaine Château de Selle, Domaine Clos Mireille, and Domaine Château Romassan. Each one produces exceptionally high-quality wines. This 3-liter Rose Chateau de Selle is not just any rosé; it is a true masterpiece. This wine was created with great passion. The vinification method is biodynamic, with 100 percent attention to the terroir. The harvest is done entirely by hand in August. This is followed by a second selection of the grapes and a gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, and the wine then matures for 8 months in oak barrels. This is what Domaines Ott is known for, because who ages their rosé in oak? Well, we can say that this is truly wonderful, and it's certainly no surprise that this stunning rosé wins many international wine awards!

For us, it's number 1, with a soft bouquet of red fruit, lime zest, minerals, and a hint of red roses in the aroma. The taste is truly a masterpiece; drink it like a good Sancerre, for example, because every sip is unique and a special experience. In the taste of this Domaine Ott Rose Chateau de Selle 2023, we find impressions of red fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, and cherries, complemented by minerals, lime zest, grapefruit, and apricots. What a gem, be quick, because the 2023 vintage is very scarce! A beautiful and special detail is that the famous bottle is based on the old terracotta vessels in which olives were stored in the past.
