This breathtaking white wine hails from the heart of Italy, the Molise region. Bordering Abruzzo, Lazio, Campania, and Puglia, it has excellent neighbors. However, the reputation of Molise wines isn't necessarily bad, but rather unknown. Fortunately, the Di Majo Norante winery is changing this. Especially in recent decades, they've built an impressive reputation, resulting in a whole range of delicious Italian wines. This Falanghina is the latest addition to the Di Majo Norante family and achieves exactly the same thing as all its predecessors: a delicious wine at a reasonable price.

Di Majo Norante may have only recently become a household name among wine connoisseurs, but they've been making wine for quite a while. For over two centuries, to be precise: Yes, you read that right. Since 1800, the hilly landscape of Molise has been producing the most exquisite wines. With a host of local grape varieties playing a prominent role, Di Majo Norante has always had a very distinctive character. Besides red wines based on Montepulciano and Sangiovese, Di Majo Norante has always made beautiful red wines with Aglianico. Now it's time for a true white wine, and the winery has chosen to use Falanghina for this. The Falanghina thrives in the vineyards of Molise. The sun-drenched days allow it to flourish perfectly. Thanks to the cold skin treatment, this Di Majo Falanghina develops a unique bouquet. Upon opening the bottle, you're enveloped in overripe peaches and apricots. A hint of pomegranate seeds lends it a subtle bitterness. All in all, a high-flyer that pairs well with, for example, Vitello Tonato or a Caprese Salad.Product details
