The Miss Anais wines from France

This new range of wines hails from the Pays d'Oc region in southern France. Located in the south of France, the Languedoc-Roussillon region is one of France's major wine-producing regions. Its history dates back to 600 BC, when viticulture began, first with the Greeks and then with the Romans. Languedoc-Roussillon now enjoys an excellent reputation for producing successful wines, and Miss Anais wines certainly play a leading role. These Miss Anais wines are marketed by Chantovent. Founded in 1953, they have been part of the Jean d'Alibert Group's winegrowing and production operations since 1993. They have several vineyards, the most notable being those around the medieval city of Carcassonne. Here, Grenache Noir, among others, has taken center stage. This grape is usually used in red wines, but with skillful vinification, it can also create excellent rosés. By fermenting the skins briefly, you achieve the typical Gris Rosé style that is also applied to this Miss Anais wine.

How is Miss Anais Gris made?

This rosé is traditionally vinified at low temperatures. This ultimately results in a rosé with delicate, fruity, and floral aromas. Everything is present in this summery glass. On the palate, elegant, soft fruity notes dominate, while Miss Anais Gris Rosé also possesses a certain, much-needed freshness. Notes of flowers, grapefruit, berries, and cherries envelop you. A truly beautiful glass of rosé to enjoy on its own, and perfect with grilled fish!
