The soil is rich in limestone and characterized by its abundance of stones.\n\n\n \nThe vineyard is worked entirely by hand. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, carefully selecting only the very best. Because only the best is good enough for the winemakers of Tenuta Sette Ponti. The grapes are collected in crates weighing no more than 15 kilos and transported to the winery. Here, the grapes are sorted again for quality on the sorting tables. They then undergo a gentle pressing and fermentation process for 25 days at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged in French oak barriques for 14 months, after which it is time to bottle.
