The grapes used for this wine are Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, which complement each other perfectly. The vineyards comprise three terroirs, ranging from alluvial to sandstone soils, giving it its full, classic flavor. Each bunch is harvested separately, entirely by hand. Each grape variety is pressed separately, after which the winemaker at Château du Trignon creates the blend for this red Gigondas.
