It's a masterpiece; flawless from start to finish. What makes Varvaglione's Italian wines unique is their mastery of all the beautiful aspects of Puglian viticulture. All local appellations are represented in the extensive yet exquisite Varvaglione Vigne e Vini range.

Varvaglione's base is located in the southernmost tip of Italy, in the province of Puglia. Puglia has developed over the past ten years as a wine cellar for Italian wines. It is currently one of Italy's most popular wine regions, and we predict this will remain the case for the foreseeable future. This is partly due to the excellent price-quality ratio of Puglian wines. Varvaglione is no exception. It is a family business, currently in its third generation of winemakers. This man, Cosimo Varvaglione, recognized Puglia's potential early on. By planting extensively, investing, and innovating early on, Varvaglione is now truly among the very best in Puglia.

The wines from Italy

Wherever you look in Puglia, you'll always find a Varvaglione vineyard nearby. Cosimo Varvaglione planted them throughout the province. He recognized that Puglia's location, surrounded by the sea, offered an incredibly favorable position. The mild sea breezes ensure perfect growth. Combined with the fertile soil, Varvaglione's vineyards are arguably the most beautiful in all of Puglia.

The vineyards are planted with a wide range of grape varieties, the majority of which are local varieties. Think of the famous Primitivo, the characteristic Negroamaro, or standouts like Verdeca and Malvasia Nera. However, Cosimo has also made room for international stars like Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
