Juan Sutil was the fifth of seven children, and his father immediately recognized his talent, not only for agriculture but also for business. He was encouraged to study at one of the most prestigious agricultural schools, where Juan graduated in 1979. This resulted in the establishment of his first large company in 1984, focusing on growing asparagus, raspberries, and blueberries. Regions such as Lipari, Leyda, Maipo, Maule, and Curico Valley became part of the Sutil wine portfolio.
