The vineyards benefit from warm days and the cooling influence of the lake, a characteristic that is reflected in the refreshing wines Lenotti produces. Innovation is also a key element at the winery, and in 2005 they completely renovated and modernized the vinification process, barrel storage, and bottling facility. For example, Giancarlo Lenotti (patrician and oenologist) is now able to use significantly lower amounts of sulfites in the bottling facility. The positive result is that the wines retain their original aromas right through to the glass. The grapes for this delicious white wine come from the hills south of Lake Garda. The different varieties are vinified separately after a short maceration on the skins. They are then blended and further aged in stainless steel tanks.\n\n\n\n \u003ch2\u003eThe scent and taste of Lenotti Custoza\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n\n On the nose, this Lenotti Custoza has hints of pear and plenty of citrus fruits like lime, lemon, and lemongrass. This fresh style carries over to the palate, wonderfully refreshing with notes of gooseberry, citrus, and passion fruit! This dry, refreshing wine is delicious as an aperitif or with drinks. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested at peak ripeness, with only the finest grapes being considered. In the winery, fermentation takes place at a low, controlled temperature, entirely in stainless steel tanks.\n\n\n\n\u003ch2\u003e Fruity Custoza with refreshing acidity\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\n \nThe Custoza has a pale yellow color in the glass, and upon pouring, enticing aromas are immediately released. We note pear, melon, and lime complemented by subtle notes of wildflowers. It's a fruity wine on the palate with refreshing acidity, creating a beautiful balance.
